I’m really perplexed by this Up in the Air Clooney movie… From the trailers I can’t exactly tell what it’s about, besides some middle-aged dude who seems lost, but it has 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and the NBR just named it their best movie of the year.
I do not understand.
Clooney fires people for a living. The film makers talked to unemployed non-actors (does that diction work?), and asked if they could fire them on camera. Apparently the reactions are amazing(ly real- go figure). And it’s Clooney, and Bateman, and Galifiankis, so… I’m pretty stoked.
